ŽSD a.s. has been dealing with complete structural engineering since 2003. For this field, the company is divided into two divisions:
- Structural Engineering Division
- Technology Division
ŽSD a. s. builds a wide spectrum of structures in the Moravian Silesian and South Moravian Regions. The company specializes in complete building orders, from project documentation preparation through legal arrangements and the engineering related to the building permit issue, to the execution, subsequent building approbation for use and hand-over of the building to the customer. The activity portfolio includes:
- Industrial buildings
- Civil facilities
- Residential houses
- Green buildings
- Reconstructions
Many projects were completed during the existence of divisions specialized in structural engineering. ŽSD a.s. built sports fields, sports halls, administrative buildings, waste water treatment plants, utility lines and roads, production and assembly halls both for private investors, towns, regions and companies managed by them.
The company has been dealing in residential construction and development projects since 2005 and has set up a separate affiliate, ŽSD reality s.r.o., to take care of these tasks.
As ŽSD a.s. also intended to focus on building operations involving sophisticated process parts, the Engineering Division was set up in 2007. This division also includes the Monolithic Structures Centre. The Engineering Division was renamed the Technology Division in 2009.
